The very first of its kind, the Business Model Transformation is a hybrid Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumers (B2C) program. It provides licensing, certification and training for aspiring consultants wishing to provide business model transformation advisory work. The programme consists of modules that revolve around cultural transformation, digital transformation, corporate transformation and business model innovation transformation.

The course contains 7 modules.

Once you successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure, you will be awarded the Statements of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and the Post-graduate Diploma in Business Model Transformation from Training Vision Institute.

Upon completion of this course, the learners will be able to monitor and integrate emerging technology trends and developments, and structured data gathering for the identification of new and emerging technological products, services and techniques. In addition, the learners will be able to perform the cost-benefit analysis and evaluate their relevance, viability, sustainability and potential value add to the business.

Module 3: Digital Business Innovation (Classroom & Asynchronous) Managing Productivity through Innovation

The knowledge and techniques from “Evaluate Organisation for Business Excellence” will be useful for managers who are responsible for managing the organisation’s business excellence journey in a holistic and integrated manner. Performance needs include planning for business excellence, assessing the organisation’s level of business excellence, managing improvements for business excellence as well as sustaining business excellence.

Upon completion of this course, the learners are able to elicit and analyse business requirements from key stakeholders and assess relevant solutions and their potential impact.


*Students will only need to complete another 2 modules through e-learning and completion of a 15,000 words thesis paper for MBA and a 50,000 words thesis paper for DBA.

Academic Minimum Entry Requirement:

  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline conducted in English; and
  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age; or
  • Mature candidate who is at least 35 years of age with 8 years’ supervisory or management experience (CEOs, C-Suites, Senior Managers, Business Owners, Functional Heads and even, Line Managers as well as any one responsible or would like to develop Business Model Transformation and drive change in the organization; have a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s vision, mission, values, and business goals).

Local Students:

  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline conducted in English.
  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age; or
  • Mature candidate who is at least 35 years of age with 8 years’ supervisory or management experience (CEOs, C-Suites, Senior Managers, Business Owners, Functional Heads and even, Line Managers as well as any one responsible or would like to develop Business Model Transformation and drive change in the organization; have a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s vision, mission, values, and business goals).

International (STP) Students:

  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline conducted in English; and .
  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age.

Language Requirement:

  • Obtained GCE ‘O’ Level pass in English Language with a minimum grade of C6; or
  • Obtained WPL Advance 7 (Average of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing Scores); or
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (Applicable for International Students); or
  • Successfully passed TVI English Admission Test.

Other qualifications can be considered for entry if they are deemed to be equivalent and will have to be approved by TVI Director, Central Academic Division (CAD).

Each level may be assessed by any combination of written assessment, projects and oral interviews.

The mode of delivery will be a combination of lectures, workshops, group discussions, individual activities, experiential learning with a 1:20 teacher and student ratio.

1. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents have to meet the following conditions to be eligible for SSG fund, failing which the participant will be liable to pay the full course fees to Training Vision Institute.

a) Met minimum 75% in attendance and in E-learning hours

b) Qualify as Competent in all WSQ Assessments

c) Met other SSG eligibility criteria

2. Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to offset the course fee after subsidies.

3. Participant with Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) can apply to use the PSEA fund for the course fee.

4. Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) are not included. A non-refundable application fee of $54 for local students and $216 for international students will apply.

Irene Wee

Irene Wee has over 30 years of experience in Human Capital Management and Development, with expertise in HR Strategy, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Performance Management. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Defence, SingHealth, and RWS. During her 26-year tenure with the Ministry of Defence, Irene attended several courses at the Civil Service College for SAF Officers. Her strengths include effective presentation and facilitation skills, strong communication skills, and an ability to stay current with current affairs and issues. For the past seven years, she has been a regular trainer in the Singapore Armed Forces Senior Leadership Course, helping senior leaders to write clearly and persuasively in their communications. Irene has extensive experience working with senior leadership in both the public and private sectors, utilising a wide range of facilitation techniques to achieve performance improvement.

Ben Toh Ser Hai

Mr. Toh Ser Hai (Ben) is a highly experienced Senior Military Officer who served in the SAF for 30 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He managed many mega projects on armour tank design, weapon, and advance sensor development, and was an officer trainer for 5 years, developing NSmen leadership succession planning, training syllabus, and lesson plans. Ben is a key trainer for the Singapore Armed Forces Joint Leadership Course and has attained the Advanced Certification for Training and Assessment (ACTA) and the Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) to upgrade his adult education competencies. In addition, he obtained a Master's degree in Training and Development from Griffith University to further enhance his competencies in training and development knowledge. Ben is an effective adult educator who is committed to supporting the government's call for higher adult educator qualifications to train PMET.
