The Post-Graduate Diploma in Agile Entrepreneurship provides learners with the knowledge and abilities needed to develop project management skills alongside strategic and entrepreneurial skillsets. The course teaches partnership management and the management of stakeholder engagement. Learners will gain experience in good management practices by approaching problems holistically, and will learn to integrate 21st century leadership skills with design thinking. They will also gain the knowledge and skills necessary to implement agile entrepreneurship through disruptive thinking. Upon completion of the course, graduates will be well-equipped to excel in the dynamic world of business and entrepreneurship.

The Post-Graduate Diploma In Agile Entrepreneurship course equips learners with the knowledge and application skills to drive medium scale projects to completion. The modules cover a wide range of skills including stakeholder relationship management, holistic thinking, design thinking, and disruptive thinking for agile entrepreneurship. Learners will gain skills in developing service operations plans, coordinating project deliverables, and identifying and mitigating risks. They will also be able to develop stakeholder engagement plans and negotiate with stakeholders. With the added ability to facilitate change at senior levels, learners will be able to manage design thinking methodologies and processes to solve specific challenges for the organization. The course concludes with project-based accelerated action learning, where learners will develop and assess relevant solutions and initiatives to deliver business results.

Module 1: Strategic Enterprise Project Manager

This module seeks to provide the learner with the knowledge and application skills in developing service operations plans to:

  1. Align project and business goals, scope medium scale projects or programmes, drive it to completion and develop realistic plans based on assessment of programme and programme objectives, scope and potential interdependencies with other programmes
  2. Implement appropriate methodologies and tools to achieve desired outcomes
  3. Pre-empt risks, develop plans to mitigate them and investigate project exigencies, identify and address root causes
  4. Set-up timely touch points to engage internal and external stakeholders that impact or impacted by project process and outcomes
  5. Allocate resources to different parts of the programme based on assessment of programme priorities
  6. Coordinate the completion of project deliverables within agreed cost, timescale and resources and implement corrective action

Module 2: Stakeholder Relationship Management

Manage stakeholder expectations and needs by aligning those with requirements and objectives of the organisation. This involves planning of actions to effectively communicate with, negotiate with and influence stakeholders. Learner will also be able to develop a stakeholder engagement plan and negotiate with stakeholders to arrive at mutually-beneficial arrangements

Module 3: Wholistic Thinking for Good Management Practice

This module seeks to provide the learner with the knowledge and application skills in understand the power of design in driving organizational experimentation to increase innovation. Explore best practices in designing experiments, including iteration, modularity, and flexibility. Develop vital design experiment skills, including instrumentation, analysis, and project management. Use a tailor-made course simulation to practice integrating design and experimentation intohow you manage people, enhance infrastructure, and increase organizational innovation

Module 4: Design Thinking for Leadership that Works

Manage design thinking methodologies and processes to solve specific challenges for the organisation, and guide stakeholders through the phases of inspiration, empathy, ideation and implementation. Learners will then be able to facilitate and guide stakeholders to apply design thinking methodologies and processes for the organization.

Module 5: Disruptive Thinking for Agile Entrepreneurship

Facilitate change at senior levels within organisations which includes facilitating an environment conducive to taking risks, identifying opportunities for change and innovation, and applying systems thinking to facilitate change and innovation

Module 6: Project-based Accelerated Action Learning for Business Results

This module covers knowledge and application skills in identify and scope business requirements and priorities through information gathering and analysis from key stakeholders. It involves the development and assesses relevant solutions, initiatives and their potential impact.

Academic Admissions Criteria for Local Students:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field; or
  • Mature candidate who is at least 30 years of age with 8 years’ supervisory or management working experience.

English Language Requirement:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level in English Language with at least Grade 6 pass; or
  • WPL Level 6 (Average of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing Scores); or
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (Applicable for STP Students)
  • Successfully passed TVI English Admission Test
  • Successfully passed tertiary programme conducted in English with a minimum duration of 24 months.

Each level may be assessed by any combination of written assessment, projects and oral interviews.

The mode of delivery will be a combination of lectures, workshops, group discussions, individual activities, experiential learning with a 1:20 teacher and student ratio.

1. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents have to meet the following conditions to be eligible for SSG fund, failing which the participant will be liable to pay the full course fees to Training Vision Institute.

a) Met minimum 75% in attendance and in E-learning hours

b) Qualify as Competent in all WSQ Assessments

c) Met other SSG eligibility criteria

2. Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to offset the course fee after subsidies.

3. Participant with Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) can apply to use the PSEA fund for the course fee.

4. Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) are not included. A non-refundable application fee of $54 for local students and $216 for international students will apply.
