Workplace Diversity and Inclusivity (14 hours)

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this programme, learners will be able to:

  • A1: Demonstrate understanding of different types of personal values, beliefs, perceptions and attitudes when interacting with diverse groups
  • A2: Conduct oneself in accordance with the organisation's inclusion policies and practices
  • A3: Participate in interactions with diverse groups within the organisation
  • A4: Adopt active listening and demonstrate respect for and acknowledge diverse perspectives or differences
  • A5: Assess own behaviour to identify unconscious biases when operating in a diverse environment
  • A6: Support the development of inclusivity-related communication materials


Building Inclusivity in the workplace (12 hours)

  • A1: Convey cultural intelligence and sensitivity towards differing values, beliefs and behaviours across diverse groups

Upon completion of this programme, learners will be able to:

  • A1: Guide the develop policies and practices to build inclusion and eliminate biases
  • A2: Endorse inclusive outcomes and initiatives across the organisation
  • A3: Champion support for the needs of diverse groups within the organisation
  • A4: Design open and psychologically safe environment for the expression of diverse views
  • A5: Manage conflicts and address non-inclusive behaviours
  • A6: Champion the organisation's inclusion-related communication efforts across internal and external platforms

  • Target Audience: Non-PMET, Young School Leavers, Senior/ Retirees, New Workforce Entrants
  • Educational Background: N/O Level, NITEC
  • Literacy Level: WPLN Level 3
  • Working Experience: 1 year

A former Singapore Armed Forces Human Resource practitioner, Irene is backed with 30 years of experience covering the HR value chain and operations. Her critical strengths lie in effective communication skills, strong interpersonal relationships, coaching and counselling, strategy planning and management, process re-engineering, operations management, leadership and management, decision-making. She has a Masters of Training and Development from Griffiths University and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Western Australia. She is also ACTA certified.

Steven has more than 30 years' experience in senior management and consulting, coaching, and training. He is passionate about helping people achieve success in different seasons of their personal and professional lives. Believe everyone has talents and potential.
