This Advanced Diploma In Business Innovation And Marketing focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills and mindset in the business world. The course aims to provide learners with the ability to identify performance deficiencies, manage teams, contribute towards a learning organization, lead communication, manage workplace challenges and virtual teams. Additionally, it provides knowledge and skills necessary for designing and evaluating effective marketing strategies, understanding the international business environment, and demonstrating the importance of global digital marketing. Upon completion of this 8-module course, learners will have a better understanding of the processes of the global economy, the economic, political, technological, and socio-cultural environment, and how to transform marketing departments and take businesses international. This diploma is perfect for those looking to enhance their marketing knowledge and take on the challenges of the modern business world.

Module 1: Apply Systems Thinking to Problem Solving & Decision Making

On completion of this module, learner will be able to identify and examine causes of performance deficiency and their impact on systems and resources, manage team dynamics in group discussion to identify root causes(s), and apply problem solving and decision-making tools and techniques to address performance deficiency with applied System Thinking tools, approaches and processes.

Module 2: Contribute towards a Learning Organization

On completion of this module, learner will be able to identify, examine and analyze employability issues for self and the organisation in the local and global contexts, and contribute to the development of a learning organisation that can operate effectively in the knowledge-based economy as well as adapt to change and diversity.

Module 3: Lead workplace Communication

Upon completion of the module, the students will gain the confidence in engaging business leaders in discussions about their business needs, and then taking the conversation back to HR team members to create a HR strategy that is aligned to and supports the business

Module 4: Manage Workplace Challenge

Upon completion of the module, the students will gain the confidence in engaging business leaders in discussions about their business needs, and then taking the conversation back to HR team members to create a HR strategy that is aligned to and supports the business

Module 5: Manage a Virtual Team

The aims of this module are to provide learner with the analytical skill to determine the need for virtual and workplace team collaboration in achieving organisational goals and objectives. Intended goals, objectives and infrastructure to operationalize virtual and/or physical collaboration will be covered. Skills in fostering cohesion, commitment and performance among virtual and/or physical team members towards common goals and objectives will also be taught.

Module 6: Principles Of Marketing

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to design and create a marketing campaign using the new marketing channels to promote and sell their products. They will also be able to evaluate if their marketing strategy is effective

Module 7: International Business Environment

On completion of this module, learner will be able to examine the processes of the global economy and the economic, political, technological, and socio-cultural environment within which a business organization operate.

Module 8: Global Digital Marketing

The aim of this module is to demonstrate how pervasive the digital age has become, and the need to transform the marketing departments and go international.

Academic Admissions Criteria

  • Relevant Diplomas from other recognised local/overseas polytechnics or other Private Education Institutes ( with an entry requirement of 12 years of formal education); and
  • Applicants must be of age 18 and above.

Language Requirements:

  • At least a C6 pass for English (EL1) at GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent; or
  • Achieve a minimum band of 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent; or
  • WPLN Level 6 or above.

Other qualifications can be considered for entry if they are deemed to be equivalent and will have to be approved by Director CAD in TV"

Each level may be assessed by any combination of written assessment, projects and oral interviews.

The mode of delivery will be a combination of lectures, workshops, group discussions, individual activities, experiential learning with a 1:20 teacher and student ratio.

1. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents have to meet the following conditions to be eligible for SSG fund, failing which the participant will be liable to pay the full course fees to Training Vision Institute.

a) Met minimum 75% in attendance and in E-learning hours

b) Qualify as Competent in all WSQ Assessments

c) Met other SSG eligibility criteria

2. Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to offset the course fee after subsidies.

3. Participant with Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) can apply to use the PSEA fund for the course fee.

4. Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) are not included. A non-refundable application fee of $54 for local students and $216 for international students will apply.
