    STEP 2 - Application Submission

    • All applications to be submitted with supporting documents along with application fee of $214 (inclusive of 7% GST, non-refundable)

     

    STEP 3 - Evaluation Of Programme Application And Verification For In-Principle Approval

    • Degree Programmes: 14 working days (May vary depending on circumstances)

    • Advanced Diploma in Service Management: 7 working days

    • Upon Successful evaluation of programme application, students will receive:

    • Letter of offer

    • You are required to read, understand and sign 2 original copies of the student contract and return it to Admission officer

    • Student can view for miscellaneous fee in the standard student contract (below)

     

    STEP 4 - Fee Payment Prior To Start Of Course

    • Students may make their payments through Cash, Cheque, Telegraphic transfer (TT), or Credit Card.

     

    STEP 5 - Commencement Of Course

    • Orientation

     

  • STEP 1 - Application and Immigration Forms

    • Obtain the Training Vision Institute-Higher Education program application form.

    • Training Vision Institute-Higher Education will submit your application.

    STEP 2 - Notification of Admission Approval

    • Applicants will be notified of their application status via email/agent.

    • If successful, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance within 7 working days.

    • Sign the Letter of Acceptance, scan it, and email it back for processing.

    STEP 3 - Student Pass Application

    • Training Vision Institute-Higher Education will submit your student pass application to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

    • Processing generally takes 4 weeks but may take longer.

    • Success is not guaranteed, as ICA reserves the right to reject applications based on various factors.

    STEP 4 - Student Pass Approval

    • You will be notified via email once the student pass application is approved.

    • Only enter Singapore to complete the formalities after approval.

    • A Student's Pass will be issued within one month from the course start date.

    STEP 5 - Arrival in Singapore

    • Upon arrival, sign a formal PEI-Student Contract with Training Vision Institute-Higher Education.

    • Course advisors will coordinate details before your arrival.

    • Foreign students issued with IPA letters must complete formalities in person at ICA's office (4th storey, ICA Building). You must be in Singapore on a valid Immigration pass to collect the Student's Pass. The completion of formalities is strictly by appointment, and relevant documents as stated in the IPA letter must be brought along.


    Fees

    • Processing fee: $30 (non-refundable).

    • Issuance fee: $60 for the Student's Pass, plus a $30 visa fee for visa-required nationals.

  • Application:

    • Submit a written request using the Programme Transfer Form.

    • If under financial subsidies, notify the sponsoring organization and complete necessary forms.

    • Provide reasons and supporting documents for the transfer.

    • For students under 18, parental/guardian approval is required.


    Processing:

    • Requests and refunds (if applicable) processed within 7 working days.

    • Decision communicated within 2 weeks.

    • Availability, entry requirements, and vacancies will be checked, with formal notification provided.

    If Approved:

    • Unused fees may be refunded or applied to the new course.

    • Additional fees, if any, will be invoiced.

    • A new contract will be signed, voiding the original.

    • FPS insurance will be updated immediately; any refund will be returned to the student.

  • Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course:

    • A student may withdraw immediately from the course by providing written notice to Training Vision Institute-Higher Education if the institute breaches any obligations under the agreement or fails to perform its duties under the specified conditions (i) to (vi).


    Refunds for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons:

    • If a student withdraws for reasons other than those related to non-delivery of the course, Training Vision Institute-Higher Education will refund the following amounts within seven (7) working days of receiving written notice (less the application fee):

    Degree Programmes:
      - 50% refund: More than 14 days before the Course Commencement Date.
      - 0% refund: 14 days or less before the Course Commencement Date.
      - 0% refund: After the Course Commencement Date.


    Refunds are based on the fees paid under Clauses 1.11 and 1.12 of the student contract.


    Cooling-Off Period:

    • A cooling-off period of seven (7) working days is provided after the Contract has been signed by both parties. If the student submits a written notice of withdrawal within this period, they will receive the highest percentage refund of fees paid (as stated in Schedule D of the Student Contract), regardless of whether the course has started.



    Refund Procedure (Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons):

    1. Obtain the "Withdrawal/Refund Request Form" from the admin counter/student services.

    2. Complete the form and submit it to the admin counter/student services. Incomplete forms may delay processing.

    3. Receive an email within 5 working days, stating the outcome of the request and instructions for refund collection (if applicable). An official notification letter will also be sent to the student's registered address or provided in person.

    4. For approved refunds, visit the institution to collect the refund and acknowledge receipt.



    Deferment Policy:

    • All deferment requests must be made in writing to the Program Management or Administration Department at Training Vision Institute. Requests must be supported by documentary evidence or a strong reason for deferment.

    • Students are allowed to defer only once, for a maximum of one (1) year. If this period is exceeded, the student will be considered withdrawn and must re-apply as a new applicant, with the refund policy applicable.

    • International students approved for deferment must cancel their student passes as required by ICA. Approval for deferment is at the sole discretion of Training Vision Pte Ltd.

    • The Programme Manager is the approving authority for Student Transfer, Withdrawal, and Deferment requests.

  • Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF)

    The Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), established under the Private Education Act and its regulations, outlines mandatory registration requirements and legislative obligations for all Private Education Institutions (PEIs) operating in Singapore. 

    • Administered by: The Committee for Private Education (CPE), the sectoral regulator for the private education sector under the Private Education Act.

    • Objective:To enhance the quality of PEIs in Singapore and ensure they meet acceptable standards, thereby protecting students' interests.

    Training Vision Institute is registered under the ERF with a validity period from 8 Nov 2020 to 7 Nov 2024.

    EduTrust Certification Scheme

    The EduTrust Certification Scheme is a voluntary program administered by the CPE, replacing the CaseTrust for Education scheme previously managed by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).

    • Purpose: Allows better PEIs to differentiate themselves by achieving higher standards in key areas of management and educational service provision.

    • Benefit: Enables PEIs to enroll international students.

    • Certification: Training Vision Institute has been awarded a 4-Year EduTrust certification as of 21 March 2025.

    Fee Protection Scheme (FPS)

    The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) is designed to safeguard students' fees in case a PEI is unable to continue operating due to insolvency or regulatory closure.

    • Protection: The FPS also covers penalties or fee refunds arising from judgments against the PEI by Singapore courts.

    • Requirement: All EduTrust-certified PEIs must adopt the FPS to protect all fees paid by students unless exempted by the CPE.

    • TVI Implementation: Training Vision Institute-Higher Education has implemented the FPS via an insurance facility with Lonpac Insurance Bhd, effective from 1st November 2021.

    Medical Insurance Coverage

    All full-time students registering for a new program must purchase medical insurance for a minimum of one year and renew it if the program duration exceeds one year.

    Opt-Out Eligibility:

    • Singapore citizens, permanent residents, and international students not on a Student's Pass.

    • Students under corporate sponsorship or agreements between the PEI and sponsoring organization.

    Exemptions: Part-time students and those enrolled in courses lasting no more than one month or 50 hours.


    Coverage Requirements:
     Annual limit of at least S$20,000 per student.

    •  Coverage for at least B2 ward in government and restructured hospitals.

    •  24-hour coverage in Singapore and overseas if involved in school-related activities.

    • Documentation:  Students will receive an original copy of the medical insurance policy detailing terms, conditions, claim procedures, and exclusions.

    • Fees: The insurance fee is payable yearly and indicated in the fee schedule of the Student Contract. The premium is borne by the student.

    Standard PEI-Student Contract

    The Standard PEI-Student Contract is a legally binding agreement between Training Vision Institute-Higher Education and its students for all registered programs under the ERF.

    • Requirement: All students must sign the Standard PEI-Student Contract upon enrolment before any course fee payment is made.

  • Training Vision Institute- Privacy Statement

     

    Training Vision Institute respects the privacy of our stakeholders. We aim to protect the personal data that are provided to us. “Personal Data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data; or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access. This is as per defined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) in Singapore.


    We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time and will post all such updates to this webpage. You are encouraged to check it regularly for the latest version. Subject to your rights at law, you agree to be bound by the prevailing terms of our Privacy Policy as updated from time to time.


    Training Vision Institute- Privacy Policy
    Unless permitted by applicable laws, Training Vision Institute will not collect your personal data without your consent. We value your privacy and will collect, use or disclose your personal data only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


    When you consent to provide your personal data to us, you warrant and represent to us the personal data which you disclose to us is accurate and complete; and where you volunteer personal data of another person to us, that you are authorized by such other person to disclose such personal data to us, and that such personal data is accurate and complete.


    By registering for any courses, events, membership programs, services, promotions and campaigns at Training Vision Institute or by submitting your information to or otherwise communicating with us, you agree and consent to Training Vision as well as our respective representatives and/or agents to collect, use and disclose your Personal Data in accordance with TVI Privacy Policy.

    This policy does not supersede or replace any other consents you may have previously or separately provided to us in respect of your personal data.
    This set of Policy and your use of this website shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.

     

    Collection & Consent of Personal Data

     

    We will collect your personal data in one or more of the following ways:

    • When you register for any courses, events, membership programs or services with us;

    • When you post feedback, or interact with our customer service officers, e. via emails, telephone calls or at our centres;

     

    When we are required to validate as our student;

    • When you use some of our services including establishing any online accounts with us;

    • When you request that we contact you, be included in an email or other mailing list;

    • When you respond to our promotions, campaigns or other initiatives or attend our events;

     

    When we receive references from third parties, e. business partners, where you have been referred to by them as per their Privacy Policy in accordance with

     

    PDPA
    When you visit our websites, we may automatically collect standard information tracked by most other websites (Eg. Your IP address) for cybersecurity record purposes;

    • When you take part in any contest, survey or promotion conducted by us and/or our business partners (including submission of photographs);

    • When you visit our centres which have live CCTV recordings for security purposes or photo taking or video recording at events;

    • When we receive information about you from third party social networking services when you choose to connect with those services; and

     

    When you submit your Personal Data to us for any other reasons; and/or when we collect your Personal Data by other lawful means.

    • Purpose for Collection, Use & Disclosure of your personal data

     

    Your Personal Data may be collected, used and/or disclosed for the following purposes:

    • To verify accuracy of your personal data;

    • To provide courses, events, membership programs & services that you have registered for

    To respond and deal with enquiries, complaints and other customer-care matters or otherwise communicate with you;

    • To monitor customer-facing interactions for quality assurance, employee training and performance evaluation;

    • To manage payment, billing, account, credit checks and debt-recovery matters;

    • To send you information, promotions, updates, marketing and advertising materials in relation to our courses and programs and that of our subsidiaries.

     

    To manage, develop and improve our business and operations to serve you better; To personalize your experience at our customer touch points;

    • To carry out market research and customer surveys;

    • To conduct investigations or audits or carry out crime and fraud prevention and risk management activities;

    • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements;

     

    To enforce our legal rights and obligations; For other purposes for which we have obtained your consent
    Your Personal Data may be disclosed for the purposes indicated above to our officers and employees, third parties, affiliates, service providers, advisors which include without limitation, the following persons or entities:

    • Banks, credit card companies, and payment vendors;

    • Debt collection agencies;

     

    Credit information companies;

    • Logistics and courier services companies;

    • Call centre service providers;

    • Our business partners and authorised program partners

     

    Relevant government regulators or authorities or law enforcement agencies, e.g. SSG, CPE, MOE etc., Our insurers and advisors, including consultants, trainers, assessors, auditors and lawyers;

    • Data intermediaries; and

    • Any other party to whom you authorise us to disclose your Personal Data to.

     

    Except for relevant government regulators and authorities or law enforcement agencies, we will ensure that the parties listed above receiving your personal data are

    • Under duty of confidentiality to us with respect to the use, holding, processing, retention and/or transfer of your Personal Data; and

    • Have the need to know or handle such personal data

     

    Security of Personal Data
    We have put in placed appropriate physical & IT security measures which continually strives to meet industry standards to protect our possession & control of all personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying & disposal.


    However, even though we endeavour to ensure our internal systems are secured, we would like to remind you that that all communications sent via Internet (E.g. Email & Website) cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure and thus you are providing your personal data via Internet at your own risk. Training Vision Institute will not hold any responsibility or liability for the confidentiality and security of any information you send via the Internet.

     

    Withdrawal of Consent
    You have the right at any time to indicate your choice to us to withdraw your consent for the continued use & disclosure of your personal data (to a reasonable extent and as permitted by PDPA) via one or more of the following means:

    • By writing to our Data Protection Officer.

    • Unsubscribe options as stated in our email or other marketing messages.

     

    In withdrawing your consent, you acknowledge that, depending on the purpose(s) that you have indicated your withdrawal of consent for, we may not be able to provide or continue providing certain programs, courses & services to you. We may also have to cease such provisions accordingly without any liability to Training Vision Institute.


    Please note that it may take up to 30 working days for any request for withdrawal of consent to be processed and updated in our systems.
